3000 intoxicants capsules recovered, 2 held

Samba, Oct 24: Police in its continuous drive against the drug menace, nabbed two drug paddlers and recovered huge consignment of 3000 intoxicant capsules with trade name 'Paravan Spasm' from their possession during a raid in Samba.
The accused have been Sham Lal of Nanga Samba and Shishupal Singh of Rahian Samba
Police spokesman said that a Police party headed by Inspector Ravinder Parihar, SHO Samba under the direct supervision of Anil Magotra, SSP Samba and Vijay Pal Singh, DySP HQ Samba, nabbed two above mentioned drug peddlers from Industrial area Samba where they were selling banned capsules to the local youths of the area. "During the thorough search and personal frisking of the duo the police team recovered a total of 3000 intoxicant capsules with trade name Paravan Spasm from their possession," police said.
The duo was arrested on spot and a case under FIR No. 186/2014 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Samba accordingly.
Meanwhile police has started further investigation to ascertain source of the capsules.
