| Ghambir Mughlan locals protest against shifting of Naibat to Kotli Kala | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 7 : Inhabitants of Ghambir Mughlan and its adjoining areas have resented the decision of the State Government to shift Naibat headquarter from Ghambir Mughlan to Kotli Kala Ban in Manjakot tehsil in Rajouri district.
MS Mughal, chairman J&K Human Development Foundation (Regd) said that the Niyabat was sanctioned by Cabinet decision at Ghambir Mughlan vide its decision No. 128/11/2014 Dated 16/07/2014 and government order No. : Rvs (s) 169 of 2014 dated 18/07/2014.
People alleged that the government has reversed it previous order and now Niyabat headquarter was shifted to Kotli-Kala-Ban that is nearly 10 km faraway from Ghambir Mughlan and will cause inconvenience to many people.
Inhabitants of Ghambir Mughlan further said that the Naibat was working smoothly at Panchayat Ghar at Ghambir Mughlan and some authorities in convince with some vested interest and political gains shifted the Naibat.
They warned that people of Ghambir Mughlan will not keep quiet and have decided to launch an indefinite protest demonstration against this move of Revenue authorities.
In light of this impugned order a eleven member team under the chairmanship of Mohd Sayeed Mughal has already left for Jammu to present a memorandum to Divisional Commissioner and Revenue Authorities.
The members include advocate Qamar Khan, legal advisor , Tahir Mehmood, Raja Shahid Mughal, Majid, Ishfaq Chowdhary ,Sajjad Mughal, Shazad Mughal, advocate Basit etc.
"People of Ghambir Mughlan have suffered a lot in the past and now they will not keep quiet and going to start an indefinite agitation/protest against the concerned authorities who in collaboration with some vested interest have hatched a conspiracy against the people of Ghambir Mughlan" said Mughal.
He added that if the decision was not taken back then the agitation will led by the member of Jammu Kashmir Human Development Foundation and all the people of the area will join it.
Mughal also warned political parties in the state not to presume people of Ghambir Mughlan mere as vote bank, people of the area will teach a lesson to such political parties whose leaders are in volved in this conspiracy. |
