8 more file papers; total 21 candidates filed nominations from Udh, Ramnagar, Chenani | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Nov 13 : With the issuance of date for filling nomination for the second phase of the Assembly polls in Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir eight more candidates from different political parties on Wednesday filed their papers from Udhampur , Ramnagar and Chenani constituencies of udhampur district making a total of 21 candidates filed their nomination till date. According to officials, In Chennai Assembly Constituency, Hans Raj of People Democratic Party (PDP), Sansar Chand of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) and Pushpa Devi Dogra of Samajwadi Party(SP) filed their nomination papers here today. Moreover, Harsh Dev Singh of Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP), Vinod Kumar Sharma of Indian National Congress (INC) and Sukham Chand of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) filed their nominations from Ramnagar Assembly constituency while Vikrant Sharma and Smt Ram Pyari filed their nomination papers as INC and BSP covering candidate respectively for Ramnagar constituency. All the three seats Udhampur , Chenani Ghordi and Ramnagar will go to polls on December 2. As per District election officer the last date for the filling nomination is 14th November scrutiny of the nomination papers is November 15 while the last date for the withdrawal of nomination is November 17 |
