Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 21: Reiterating demand for implementation of one man one post policy in Jammu University, National Secular Forum (NSF) demanded one-man one post for officials in Jammu University.
Addressing media persons, President Qayoom Malik said that most of the university professors and officials had been holding various posts in varsity due to which the scholar's research and study of postgraduate students were suffering. He also said that it was very surprising that few professors have holding around four key positions of varsity in-spite of clear directions of Chancellor of University of Jammu NN Vohra but the varsity administration decree fall on deaf ears. "There are more than half a dozen officers in Jammu University, who have been holding multiple posts for the last more than two years, but the administration has deliberately turned a blind eye towards the matter", he claimed and adding that Dr Manoj K Dhar, Prof. Rajnikant, Prof. Dhian Singh Bhau, Prof. Jasber Singh and Prof.Vivek Gupta have occupied double posts in JU.
He further said that some other professor of JU had been occupied more than two or more key posts. "We fail to understand that how a person occupying more than one post delivers justice with the administration as well as the students," he maintained and said that there were several officers in the varsity, who were given no responsibility. He appealed Chancellor NN Vohra to direct Vice Chancellor Jammu University for one-man one post otherwise NSF would start agitation within three day .
