HC directs BOPEE to allow petitioners in CET Examination

Jammu, May 28: Justice Tashi Rabstan of J&K High Court Jammu Wing today in a petition filed by Ayush Khajuria and others who have been received admit card for appearing in Common Entrance Test to allow them to take the exam. Direction was given after hearing Adv Nitin Bhasin issued notice to BOPEE which were accepted by Adv Anil Sethi and directed him to file objections within three weeks.
Court after hearing counsel for the petitioners observed that subject to objections from other side, BOPEE is directed to issue admit card to the petitioners and also to allow them to participate in the CET 2015 examination to be held on May 30, 2015 and May 31, 2015 at their own risk and responsibility.
Court further clarified that participation in the examination shall not create any right or equity in favor of the petitioners and also directed BOPEE not be declared the result of the petitioners until further orders from this Court. (JNF)
