Manohar conducts extensive tour of far flung areas of Billawar

Billawar, Jan 31: Dr Manohar lal Sharma Senior Congress Leader, Former Minister and General Secretary PCC today conducted an extensive tour of the far flung areas of Billawar constituency namely village Bathar , Juthaa, Malindi, Nallau and Najot and village Dhralta, Billawar, Morian of village Khog, Marduin, Tilla, Dhed, Bhaddu and Kishenpur Dungara and interacted with the Local people, Panchs and Sarpanchs and prominent leaders of the area and came across to the problems faced by the people of the areas on day to day basis.
Public of the area apprised Dr Sharma about the condition of roads, water supply schemes and power crises being faced by the general public in day to day life. There are unscheduled power cuts about ten to twelve hours per day on a routine matter and no body is bothering to listen the public and address these public related general problems.
Panchayat representatives and general public criticizing governments for their non serious attitude to attend the public grievences and even public openly accused the present dispensation to stop all ongoing works which was started by the previous government for the welfare of the general public and they said there is not even a single step taken to initiate all these ongoing works for further progress.
Dr Sharma strongly lamented the government for its failure to take steps to start and complete all ongoing developmental works in whole constituency and particularly in the far flung areas like Bather bridge, Tilla to Bather road, Bather to Najot road, Murhiian bridge, building of Najot high school, bridge khog to Larhi road over nullah Drakarh etc for which funds are available but they did nothing till date.
Dr Sharma attend Dogri cultural program at High school Najot in Malhar zone of Distt Kathua on the eve of republic day celebrations in which large number of people of village and adjoining areas from all walks of life attended the function and appreciate the role of students and participants for their colourful performances.
