JAMMU, Jan 31: Two-day workshop-cum-CME (Continuing Medical Education) on 'Intervention Pain Management' organised by JK Medicity Hospital in collaboration with Interventional Pain Spine Centre (IPSC) Delhi and Jammu concluded here today. During the workshop, delegates from all over Jammu region participated in the first of its kind workshop-cum-CME on Pain Management in Jammu. The management of the pain was discussed in the CME where Dr. Pankaj Surange, IPSC Delhi, and Dr. Rohit Lahori, a noted pain management practitioner of the state and head IPSC Jammu addressed the gathering mostly medical practitioners on various aspects for treating patients of any type of pain. Dr Pankaj N Surange and Dr Rohit Lahori conducted a live workshop on different interventional pain procedures at JK Medicity hospital. Around 10 pain procedures were conducted today. Dr. Baljit S. Pathania, Director Health Services, Jammu was the chief guest in the CME while Dr. Smriti Gulati, Head, Department of Anesthesia, Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, was the guest of honour. They laid stress on establishing of pain Clinics in GMCH Jammu and others hospitals of the region. Dr. Gurmeet Singh Reen, Organizing chairperson conducted the session and welcomed the delegates to CME and workshop. Dr. Gagan Preet Singh Managing Director of J.K. Medicity Hospital presented the vote of thanks. |
