Bajalta, Jan 31 : Diamond Public School(DPS) today celebrated annual day here at school premises. According to press release, National Conference provisional president Devender Singh Rana was the chief guest, urging students to strengthen bonds of camaraderie within and outside their school precincts. Rana further said that preserving secular inheritance assumes crucial significance at a time when society is ridden with hatred and intolerance. "Dividing society on the basis of caste and religion will ultimately prove detrimental for the growth of young people, who have to be cosmopolitan in character in the competitive world", Rana said. He lauded the efforts of Diamond Public School for providing congenial academic environment and infrastructural facilities to ensure multifaceted growth of students. "The students of the area are second to none in capacity and capably and the only need is to channelize their energies in proper direction", he maintained. |
