JAMMU, Jan 31: The residents of Sangoor today held a demonstration against MES and the administration under the presidentship of village sarpanch Pawan Kumar Gupta. They alleged that Sangoor road near MES Filter Plant was totally damaged due to the flow of waste products from the plant. "In the absence of a drain, the dirty water carrying waste products gets splattered on the road which is now badly damaged," they said.
"We have protested against the department in the past also, but MES has done nothing to either repair the road or make a drain there," they added.
They appealed to the district administration to intervene and do the needful. |
