Ramban, May 18: Ramban police today claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since last three year.
Police spokesperson said, "The accused has been identified as Ab Qayoom Reshi s/o Mohd Ramzan of Ladoora, Baramulla."
On specific input about presence of absconder, police team from Chanderkot Police Station conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2013.
"The accused was involved in a case registered under FIR number 66/2013 u/s 279/337/338 RPC with Police Station Chanderkot, police said.
Police said, "The catch was made by police team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Chanderkot Police Station Inspector Daljeet Singh under the supervision of Addl SP Ramban Mushtaq Choudhary and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar. |
