Jammu, May 18: By scoring a 98.4% marks in ICSE class 10th exams, Jammu girl Era Gupta, daughter of Ashwani Gupta and Kanchan Sharma achieved a rare distinction in fetching second rank across Karnataka State. According press statement, a bright student of Bishop Cotton School Bengaluru, Era Gupta's persistent studies helped her in achieving this remarkable goal. She also shared the honour of girl topper of the Karnataka State besides being ranked first in her School. Era's proud father, Ashwani, a post graduate in Civil Engineering and currently working as vice president in an MNC also accredited Era's hard works and sincerity behind her success. However, he also credited to Almighty for blessing his family with such a bounty. Kanchan Sharma, Era's mother, who is an architect by profession acknowledged her daughter's acumen and insightful thinking for achieving this big target. Celebrating the moment, Era's maternal grandparents i.e. Hans Raj Sharma (Retd) Executive Engineer and Tara Sharma thanked Bawe Wali Mata for ensuring their granddaughter's success that too in a far off State of Karnataka. Meanwhile the wonder child Era Gupta attributed entire credit to her parents for always being supportive and helpful in all her endeavours. "With self-belief and utmost trust in the Almighty I began to work towards my goal and today I stood second in Karnataka State," Era added. Giving an advise on handling stress before exams, Era said, "Just keep your cool. If one studies regularly the whole year, then ISCE board exams would not be a big deal." |
