Early Times Report Jammu, May 18: Veteran and senior painter artists of Jammu are going to participate in the special part of Invitees' Section of an All India Art Exhibition being organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu at the galleries of Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar to be organized from May 22- 25. According to a press statement, prominent veteran artists invited to this art exhibition included N D Jamwal, a well known painter, writer, poet, novelist and former Secretary, J&K Academy, T S Batra, renowned painter & former Principal, Institute of Music & Fine art (IMFA), Jammu and Jang S. Verman, a well known multi- media artist & columnist on art & culture in this special section. Meanwhile other three artists who have been invited to this section are V S Rahi, New Delhi, Dr P S Grover, Amritsar (Punjab) and Prabhinder Lall, Chandigarh. "The exhibition will be inaugurated on May 22, jointly by S Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, President Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar and Dr P S Grover, General secretary, IAFA who will be the guest of Honour on this occasion, statement said. "The said exhibition is being curated by O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA, Jammu, it said and added that other artists from state who are participating in this exhibition include Amrit Kaur, Anuradha Devi (Supwal), Dhananjay Sharma, Ganesh Kumar Sharma (Hira Nagar), Jatinder Kaur, Aslam Naqishbandi (Srinagar), O P Sharma, Rekha Gupte, Sahil Ohri and Shakti Kumari. |
