SRINAGAR, May 18: The remaining part of the 24th State Football Championship, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) shall start tomorrow with the holding pre-quarterfinals matches, here tomorrow. A handout issued by the JKFA here today informed that the matches from pre-quarterfinals stages onwards were postponed because of pre-occupation of the top state teams. Now, following the already laid down fixture, the pre-quarterfinal match between Food and Supplies (CA&PD) XI and AG's Office XI shall take place at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium Srinagar at from 4 pm onwards tomorrow. It will be followed by the first semifinal between J&K Bank and J&K Police at the same venue on May 20 at 4 pm, the handout added. Meanwhile, the annual league of DFA Srinagar in all divisions shall commence from May 24. |
