Early Times Report

Jammu, May 30: In the backdrop of Nagbani school sexual harassment case in which the school principal is alleged to be the main accused, the culprit was called by Police Officer after the lady had lodged a complaint against him. However, after he submitted a written apology, police had let him go.
Informed sources alleged that the accused principal again started abusing the teacher after he was freed by police without any punishment. Not succumbing to pressure, the aggrieved teacher then lodged a complaint with the Women Commission which in turn directed School authorities to transfer him from the school.
Sources said that the said Principal in order to strengthen his position in school engaged his relatives as teachers in school, numbering seven. Even he also employed his wife as a teacher in the school.
Meanwhile, police sources said that the accused had been granted interim bail by the court. The aggrieved lady teacher who is at present deputed with the primary Wing of school today met senior police officers who assured justice to her.
Pertinent to mention here that the accused principal namely was booked under section 506 and 509 of RPC after the lady teacher lodged complaint against him for sexually abusing her in the work place.
