Jammu, Oct 31: Even as the Aam Aadmi Party “continues to get exposed as its tall claims of honesty are falling flat”, in the latest a policeman in Punjab was caught on the camera partying with gangsters linked to the killing of famous singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
The sacked Crime Investigation Agency in-charge of Mansa police Pritpal Singh has been seen with aide of gangster Deepak Tinu at a night club in a purported viral video, believed to be taken earlier this year after the AAP government came to power.
In the viral video, Pritpal can be seen with Tinu’s aide Mohit Bhardwaj in a night club at Industrial Area in Chandigarh.
[31/10, 17:33] Sriagar: Interestingly, this video has been leaked on social media days after Bhardwaj was taken into custody by the Mohali police. Sources said the video has been taken by Bhardwaj.
A former police official told the Early Times on the condition of anonymity that the AAP has got totally exposed in Punjab and that many of the people were feeling that they made the wrong decision by choosing such a party to power.

New Delhi, Oct 31: While pollution level in the Union Capital and Punjab has crossed all limits due to stubble burning in Punjab and some parts of Delhi, chief ministers of both states are busy in Gujarat elections.
As per reports, Punjab has crossed 11,000 stubble-burning cases. The state has recorded a 26.5% increase in burning cases as compared to last year during the same corresponding period.
Ten districts of Punjab are the major defaulters which recorded 83% of the total fires. As three of these districts are located in the Majha regions, Two in Doab and five in Malwa region.

Jammu, Oct 31: Security forces on Monday arrested two terrorists affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit in the Kellar area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said that on a specific input a joint team of Police, Army, and CRPF during searches arrested two LeT terrorists from the Shopian district.
The arrested terrorists have been identified as Gowhar Manzoor Bhat and Abid Hussain Nanda both residents of Drabgam Pulwama. From their possession one pistol, a grenade, 10 rounds, and Rs 60000 have been recovered.
An FIR has been registered in Police station Kellar in this regard and an investigation has been taken up.

Jammu, Oct 31: Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has quashed the dismissal of policeman after 13 years.
Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal while allowing the petition, ordered that the order impugned dated June 15, 2009 by virtue of which the petitioner came to be dismissed from service cannot sustain the test of law and is hereby quashed/set-aside as the same is shockingly disproportionate to the misconduct.
