Early Times Report SRINAGAR, May 29: Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, today reiterated that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are highly talented and given the enabling opportunities they can excel in all spheres of human endeavour. The Governor was addressing the 48th Peace Conference organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Peace Foundation (JKPF) at SKICC, here today. Referring to the unfortunate situation that had obtained in the State in the past years, the Governor observed that besides enormous human and economic losses we have suffered irreparable damage to the educational system, with adverse effect on the careers of the youth. He observed that our youth have since come up in a big way and many of them are pursuing their education in reputed technical and professional institutions across the country and competing successfully for various career options. SRINAGAR, May 29: The Government has released plan allocation of Rs. 7 crore this fiscal to Drug organisation for upgradation of testing infrastructure in the Drug Testing Laboratories at Srinagar and Jammu. This was revealed by Minister of State for Health, Mr. Shabir Ahmad Khan during his inspection to Drug Testing Laboratory, Dalgate Srinagar here on Wednesday. The Health Minister said that budgetary allocation of the Organisation could also be enhanced to streamline the working of the organisation. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, May 29: A Lok Adalat was held in the premises of Sadder Court Complex, Srinagar under the supervision of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, Mr. Mohammad Shafi Khan here today. As many as 257 cases were taken up, out of which 146 cases were settled amicably on spot.
