JAMMU, Sept 19: Militants today fired at the Line of Control in Sawjian sector of Poonch where no loss of life has been reported though security forces believed that ultras may have snaked in.
Meanwhile, as Jammu continues on the terror radar, an intensive search operation was jointly launched by the Police and Army late this evening in area along Tawi and Mushriwala following reports of some militants having sneaked in.
Security sources believed that the militants may have snaked in either through the Line of Control or International Border today.
An another militancy related incident, Police today arrested three militant supporters of Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT) in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir here. Several hideouts were today raided and three militant supporters were arrested in upper Chakka area of Bhaderwah tehsil of Doda district, police said, adding that they have been identified as Sajjad Ahmed, Rafiq Ahmed and Raj Mohmmad.

JAMMU, Sept 19: Saying the royal Dogra heritage buildings survived at least three dozen incidents of fire in last 60 years, renowned heritage conservation and restoration expert has called for management of heritage buildings only by trained professionals.
Daughter of the soil, Aparna Tandon, currently on an international assignment in Italy, underscored the need to build capacity for heritage preservation and management and spreading awareness among the masses about the preservation of art and cultural heritage.

SRINAGAR, Sept 19: At least 19 people, including seven security personnel, were injured in clashes at a dozen places in the Kashmir valley on Friday. Normal life came to a standstill following a 'bandh' call given by separatists.
The clashes broke out shortly after Friday prayers in different downtown and uptown localities of the city and Pattan in Baramulla district when police along with the CRPF forcibly tried to stop "pro-independence" protesters from marching on main roads, official sources said.
