Bashir Assad SRINAGAR, Sept 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board is once again in news for large scale financial irregularities and administrative inefficiency with management and the employees at different levels looting the board and the Government doing very little to held the board management accountable for the mess. Early Times has learnt from the reliable sources that the public donations made in the spirit of charity and well-being of the poor that constitute the financial resources of the Waqf Board are mismanaged and major part of it goes to the pockets as the Government has miserably failed in bringing in transparency and accountability in the Waqf Board- "the custodian of public property". Notwithstanding the demand for financial management review gaining momentum, the Government seems to be in deep slumber doing nothing to save the Waqf Board from irrevocable manner-mess. Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 3: Former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad's scheduled visit to the State latter his month has sparked off political speculations, especially after former Minister GM Saroori was not named in a challan presented by Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) to the court in impersonation case in medical test. Azad is likely to arrive on Sept 17 and will hold meeting with party leader and is schedule to address public rallies.
