| INTUC alleges KVS officials harassing employees by violating service provisions | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 13: Thakur Raghubir Singh Chib State General Secretary INTUC J&K today alleged that some officers of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) are violating the constitutional provisions of law applicable to the employees of the KVS and removing them from service or awarding punishments without application of law applicable to them. In this meeting Chib pointed out that KVS employees are governed by the CCS (CC&A) Rules 1965 for settlement of their disciplinary cases. He said that there is an elaborate procedure laid down in the CCA (CC&S) Rules 1965 which is a great safe guard against any arbitrariness or injustice. He further pointed that hundreds of employees, many of whom have even completed service qualifying for pension, have been eased out of service, or awarded other sever punishments, but without holding of any enquiry. 'No inquiries oral or ex-parte, under the provisions of CCS (CC&A) Rules 1965 have been held and the decisions of removals or major punishments have been awarded, he added. These are the cases of misrule and misuse of official position by the officers of the KVS organization, which is illegal, unlawful and against the norms of natural justice
