JAMMU, Dec 13: Jammu and Kashmir Yoga Association organised day-long Jammu District Yoga Championship at Honda College Education in the outskirts of the city, here today. Around 60 young yoga players of the district took part in this competition in different age groups of both boys and girls categories. Earlier, the competition was declared open by chairman of J&K Panthers Party and former Minister, Harsh Dev Singh in the presence of Association president, Deepak Handa. Among others present were Ashutosh Sharma, Dr. Vikram Handa, Principal, Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School and Seema Mohan, Principal, Handa College of Education. The Detailed Results: BOYS: 8-11 yrs: Keshav Singh, Ist; Shivaye, 2nd. 11-14 yrs: Tarun Kumar, Ist; Nadeem Hussain, 2nd and Akash Sharma, 3rd. 14-17 yrs: Mohd Hussain, Ist; Naman Sharma, 2nd and Himanshu Bhat, 3rd. 17-21 yrs: Ranjeet Singh, Ist; Pardeep Singh, 2nd and Ankleshwar Manhas, 3rd. GIRLS: 8-11 yrs: Seeratswar, Ist; Simraan Kumari, 2nd; Simran Bhat, 3rd. 11-14 yrs: Harshita Sharma, Ist; Muskan Rajput, 2nd and Aashvi Mahajan, 3rd. 14-17 yrs: Akansha Bhat, Ist; Riya Gupta, 2nd. |
