| Govt denying employment opportunities to Jammu youth: NPSU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, Dec 13: Accusing the State and Central Governments of adopting discriminatory attitude towards the youth of Jammu region, the National Panthers Students' Union (NPSU) said today that the Jammu youth are being denied employment opportunities. Addressing the media persons here today, Partap Singh Jamwal (State President NPSU) said that the state as well as the center government always ignores the youth of Jammu for employment. He said that the policies for the youth of Jammu such as education and employment are totally anti for the youth of Jammu. He said that once again the government has discriminated with the youth of Jammu region as in the examination of IBPS to be held on December 15 and 23 the youth of Jammu region have been totally ignored. Jamwal said that the candidates from Jammu region had opted for Jammu as center of examination while submitting their application form whereas IBPS in turn have allocated Baramulla in Kashmir region, as their center in place of Jammu. He said that the candidates of Jammu have to cover a long distance to appear for the examination. He said that there was every possibility to conduct the exam in Jammu but the Kashmir centric based government intentionally set up the center of Jammu students in Kashmir. He condemned the decision of IBPS and demanded to establish the centre at Jammu. NPSU leader asked the Finance Minister to intervene in the matter and take action in this regard there by looking into the interest of students from Jammu region.
