| Stabbing case: Newly wed lady held, investigation goes on | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 13: Samba Police claimed to have arrested the lady who during the last night allegedly left her husband in the pool of blood and escaped with the youth who had stabbed her husband namely Jasbir Singh. Mea-nwhile manhunt is on to nab the main accused. "Police has also identified the accused who had committed the stabbing and is on hot pursuit to nab him, police said. Giving details about the incident, the police added that last night a newly married youth namely Jasbir Singh S/O Dheeraj Singh R/O Dayala Chak, Hiranagar was stabbed by some unknown assailant near 17 Miles, Vijaypur on Jammu Pathankot National Highway when the duo was on way to home with his wife on bike from Chatha, Jammu. Police added that Jasbir married hardly four days back and he was returning from his in-laws house in Jammu. "The petrol pump staff near the spot rushed the injured to Vijaypur hospital with the help of Policemen there at the nearby Chowk, police said further adding that a Case FIR No. 162/2012 u/s 307/34 RPC already stands registered at P/S Vijaypur and investigation into the matter is still going on.
