Jammu, Dec 13: J&K Teacher's Welfare Assoc-iation has taken strong exception over the non-disbursement of salaries to the teacher's working in Jam-mu district.
State President, J&K TWA Jasmeet Singh Mad-aan has expressed concern over the non disbursement of the salaries to the employees and pensioners and urged the Finance Minister, Abdul Rahim Rather to intervene into the matter personally.
"Almost half the month of December is over, but the employees are without salaries. Employees who have taken loans from the banks will have to pay extra interest for no fault of theirs. Due to this faulty system, employees are facing piquant situation," he said in a statement.
"It has become a precedent now that every month the teachers are facing the same problem," he rued.
