Jammu, Feb 20: Aiming to encourage young generation to join Merchant Navy, Sunrise (Marine Career Counseling Centre) on Wednesday felicitated deck cadets, sponsored in leading shipping companies in the world, for Feb 2013 batch from J&K.
According to press release, Sardar Jagbir Singh, advisor of Sunrise, was chief guest and while addressing, he termed Merchant Navy as the best field.
"In very young age you can start earning the money and appealed young generation of J&K to join Merchant Navy" he said and appreciated all efforts made by Sunrise.
CEO of Sunrise, Rajesh Sharma said that they were planning to open the office in each district so that maximum number of students from J&K, would join the profession.
He appealed Omar Abdullah to open a marine college in state.
Atinder Singh, Amit Gupta, Gurvinder Singh, Sahil Gupta, Karan Sawhney, Jaspreet Singh, Jaspreet Singh Wazir, Sumit Gupta, Harish Kumar, Bharat Bhushan, Akash Bhau were felicitated. |
