| Pvt educational instts have to play key role in education sector: DyCM | | | early times report
JAMMU, Feb 20: Office bearers of private educational institutes of Kashmir as well as Jammu province today held a meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand at civil secretariat. The delegation presented the memorandum and brought to the notice of the Deputy Chief Minister various issues concerning private sector education the state. Tara Chand advised them to play their key role in boosting quality education system in the Jammu and Kashmir state. He said that future generation's strong foundation in education sector is laid by dedicated work of government as well as private education institutes. He hoped that private institutes will fulfil their commitment in imparting best education to the students studying in respective institutes. He said that the institutions should also share their social responsibility of providing quality education to the underprivileged students of the society and train them to compete with their counterparts in the world of competition. The delegation was headed by Prof. V.L. Vishan and associated by Prof. G.N. Parrey, Kapoor from Jammu province, Yusuf Manzoor, Nazir Ahmad Nazir, Akhtar Hussain, Saifuddin and other distinguished educationists. He enjoined upon the teaching fraternity for imparting quality education based on moral values to their students so that they could become responsible citizens.
