VREA holds protest 2/20/2013 10:32:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 20: All Jammu and Kashmir SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employees Association (VREA) today held a protest outside the Press Club. They were demanding implementation of 6th Pay Commission and release of COLA slabs. As per press release, VREA members were assembled outside Press Club, Jammu and shouted slogans against state government and the management of SRTC for not addressing their long pending demands. Addressing the protestors, president of VREA, Dev Raj Bali said that they have been struggling since last three years but there has been no response from the state government and the management of SRTC. He alleged that state government and SRTC management were in connivance with each other due to which retired employees of SRTC are suffering.
