DSS expresses concern over increase of Numberdars honorarium

Jammu, Feb 20: Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) has expressed concern over the insuffiecent increase in the honorarium of Numberdars and Chowkidars.
According to press release, a meeting of working committee (DSS) was held under the chairmanship of vice president Dr. Neel Kanth Dogra. Speaking on the occasion, he said that in the time of huge inflation rate, the decision of meager increase of honorarium of Numberdars and Chowkidars needed to be reviewed. Incharge Youth Wing, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak appreciated Minister for Revenue Relife and Rehabilitation, Ajaz Khan for at-least showing his concern for strengthening the grass-root level institution of Numberdars & Chowkidars. A special meeting of Numberdars and Chowkidars Association has been fixed for 25th February, 2013 in Dogra Hall, Dogra Sadar Sabha, Jammu in which Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak has been especially invited for the same.
