Jammu, Mar 15: A dharma Sammelan was held on the occasion of Maha Shivratri at Kashmiri Migrant Township, Jagti today.
The Sammelan was organized by Relief Organization under the Supervision of Camp Commandant Zone 'C' Rajinder Kumar Kilam. On the occasion Chief guest was Jyotish Onkar Nath Shastri and Relief Commissioner RK Pandita was the guest of honour.
Speaking during the function Jyotshi Onkar Nath Shastri said ,"Need of the time is to educate youth of the Community to under stand dharma in real sense", adding that organizing Satsang and delivering religious sermons will hold the ethics of dharma high in present times. Relief Commissioner RK Pandita also spoke on the occasion.
Giving best wishes of Maha Shivratri to KPs he said we all must understand the dharma and transform it to our next generation.
The function was attended in the premises of Mata Khir Bhawani temple and those among others present were Avtar Krishan Bhat, Kaka Ji Bhan, Raj Nath Bhat, Romesh Koul and AK Thussu. |
