JAMMU, Mar 15: Independent MLA from Langet Er Rashid today called National Conference as real killers of Kashmiri people.
After he was confronted by Kafeel ul Rehman and NA Gurezi for his continuous protest in front of the Speaker's Chair in the State Legislative Assembly, Rashid retaliated with vengeance. "You are the real killers of Kashmiris. Kabhi Pakistan ke naam pe, kabhi Hindustan ke naam pe aur kabhi azaadi ke naam pe...," said Rashid.
Rashid was resenting imposition of curfew in the Valley and demanding that people be allowed to offer Friday prayers. "There is no bandh call today from any separatist organisation, then why have you imposed curfew?.. who are you afraid of?... why don't you allow people to offer Friday prayers?" Rashid continued despite requests from the Dy Speaker to assume his seat. "Rashid Sahib, please go to your seat, I shall allow you to speak", said Madani, but to no avail. "You raise serious issues at times, but dilute them with your mannerism and body language," Dy Speaker added, but Rashid staged a walkout in protest. |
