Jammu, Mar 15: Block Congress Committee (BCC) Bishnah paid tribute to CRPF personnel who killed in suicide attack at Bemina Srinagar, here at Arnia on Saturday. According to press release a meeting of BCC Bishnah was held today under the chairman Ship of senior Congress leader, Gulchain Singh Charak.
Speaking on the occasion he urged upon the government to keep the security personnel well-equipped to combat such attacks and demanded an ex-gratia of Rs. 5.00 lacs each for the families of the martyrs including civilian. He added that the congress party is committed to safeguard the interests of the nationalist forces in the country and will not tolerate such incidents and appealed to the state government to take necessary action to minimize such incidents in future.
The tribute was also paid to Capt. Barita Ram Sharma of village Kanhal and Ramesh Chander of Arnia Town and two minutes silence was also observed in their memory. He also expressed gratitude the government for sanctioning honorarium in favour of Panches and Sarpanches and also increasing honorarium of Numberdars and Chowkidars. Dr. Raghubir Singh, Dr. Om Parkash Saini, Dr. Gurdass, K C Mistry, Dr. Rao, Krishan Saini, Suraj Parkash, Waryam Chand and other leaders were also addressed the meeting. |
