Rajouri, Mar 15: Five days basic civil defence training was commenced at District Police Line, Rajouri, on today.
According to press release the training is being conducted by Civil Defence Rajouri. About 81 Civil defence volunteers including newly proposed CD wardens of Rajouri have been participating in the training. Suresh Kumar Chib, Deputy Controller, Civil Defence Rajouri was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
In his inaugural address, the chief Guest threw light on the history, aim and objectives of civil defence. He also highlighted the importance of civil defence training in day to day life and added that the first hour of any types of disaster is very crucial and during this time human life can be saved by providing necessary assistance to the victims. Ram Chand Nagpur trained CD instructor delivered the lecture on the different services of civil defence and their function. |
