Jammu, Mar 15: The cabinet meeting which met under the chairmanship of chief minister Omar Abdullah here today evening besides major reshuffle in the police administration also ordered some transfers and postings in civil administration.
The transfers and postings in civil administration ordered here today's cabinet meeting are as under: Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary, APD, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports Department, relieving Mr Bipul Pathak of the additional charge. Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department, vice Shaleen Kabra.
Shailendra Kumar, IAS, awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, vice Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon. Farooq Ahmad Factoo, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, School Education Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, BPE, and Floriculture Departments. Meanwhile Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, IAS, Director, H&P Department, be designated as Director General, Hospitality & Protocol Department. Hirdesh Kumar, IAS, awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as Secretary, School Education. Shagufta Parveen, IAS, Secretary, BPE, has been transferred and posted as Chairman, SSB, relieving Mohd. Afzal Bhat of the charge of the post.
Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Transport Commissioner, J&K, vice Mehraj Ahmad Kakroo.
Mohd. Afzal Bhat, Member, SSB, holding the charge of the Chairman, SSB, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Cooperatives Department, relieving Commissioner/Secretary, Agriculture Production Deptt., of the additional charge.

Other transferees ordered today included Mr. Parvez Ahmad Malik, IAS, Director, CAPD, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director, Area Planning, against an available vacancy. Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted asDirector, Panchayati Raj, against an available vacancy .
Ramesh Kumar Koul, IAS, Director, Estates, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Hon'ble Chief Minister, against an available vacancy. Mr. Abdul Majid Ganai, IAS, Additional RC, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, against an available vacancy. Mr. Ajit Kumar Sahu, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, vice Mr. Sanjeev Verma. P.K.
