Srinagar, Mar 15,: Chief Education Officer Kupwara has warned the Private Schools to remain open on strikes and curfews or face music. "We will follow the order of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir. If any School owner failed to open up his school during strike and curfew, we will cancel his registration," he said. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir has already issued an order directing School owners to keep their schools open during curfew and shutdown calls. Div Com has made it clear that the uniform of children will be treated as curfew passes. Though this order is applicable for all private schools operating in Kashmir , however, CEO Kupwara on Saturday made it clear that it will cancel the registration of all those private schools operating in Kupwara District which will not follow the orders of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir. The order has been taken with a pinch of salt by the parents across Kashmir. "When the Divisional Commissioner moves around in curfews and strikes, he is accompanied by a fleet of security vehicles", they said. |
