Jammu, Mar 15: J&K SRTC Volunteers Retirement Employees Association (VERA) on Friday organized a protest demonstration and rally at Press Club Jammu.
The protesters later took out a protest rally towards civil secretariat against the wrong policies of the J&K SRTC Management and J&K Govt.
"It clearly indicates that the VRS/GHS employees have been duped and a big foul play was played against us by the management of J&K SRTC and the Govt. and we were given the VRS only to adjust their favourities in the J&K SRTC and we are suffering for the last 3 years for our dues and on the other hand J&K SRTC have recruited 400 employees which is clear violation of the rules and regulations and if there be need of more employees why we have been given the VRS where we were more expertise in our trades than the new recruited" Dev Raj Bali said, while addressing the protesters.
In the said meeting among other there were Surinder Singh General Secretary, Mohd, Gulshan Singh, Balwinder Singh and others. |
