| Awareness camp for farmers held in Kathua | | |

Kathua, Sept 21: To improve the production of cereal crops, particularly paddy and wheat, a farmers camp was organized by Agriculture Department at Lori under National Food Security Mission. It was attended by more than 100 farmers.
Satpal Sharma Sdao Dyalachak attended the camp and advised farmers about sowing of different crops and made them aware about schemes of the department.
Agriculture Extension Officer Sanjeev Rai made the farmers aware about insect pest of paddy.
He said that the farmers should regularly visit their field and control the attack of insect pest at very first sight.
He asked the farmers to visit his office in case of any problem and aware them about sowing of wheat in coming Rabi season. Sarpanch of Khokhyal village Rajesh Kumar in his vote of thanks praised the working of the Department |
