Jammu Sept 21: Police today arrested three narcotics smugglers from Bus Stand locality and recovered 15 Kgs of poppy straw (Bhuki) from their possession, police said. A case under appropriate sections stands registered against them "The accused trio has been identified namely as Mohd Mustafa S/o Subash of Avantipura Pulwama, Surjeet Singh S/o Kuljeet Singh of Maggar Kot Banihal and Rajinder Singh S/o Pritam Singh of Katra, police said. According to police reports, "based on specific input Police Station Bus-Stand, laid a Naka at Bus Stand, and intercepted three pedestrians and during their personnel frisking police recovered 15 kgs of poppy straw. "The accused were arrested on spot and a Case FIR No 45/13 U/S 15/16 NDPS Act registered and investigation has been started, police said. |
