JAMMU, Sept 21: The Director School Education (DSE), Sourabh Bhagat today reviewed the functioning of the department at a meeting of Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of Jammu Division.
After introduction with the CEOs, the Director took a detailed district wise review of overall functioning of the department, including the implementation of centrally sponsored flagship programmes including SSA, RMSA and Mid Day Meal.
All the CEOs were directed to carry out the surprise inspection of different institution and submit monthly tour diaries to DSE.
The Director emphasized the need to activate the District Institutes of Education Training (DIET) by initiating subject wise Teachers' trainings and maintaining MDS and academic side of the institution.
The DSE also stressed on the implementation of the transfer policy in letter and spirit.
The meeting was also attended by Joint Director Training, H R Pakhroo, Joint Director Secondary Education, S K Gandotra, Joint Director EE, Saif Ali, Personnel Officer, Susheel Kumar Sharma and CEO, Sadiq Ali and Dy Director Planning
