JMC conducts adulteration drive, lifts 2 samples

Jammu, Sept 21 : Continuing adulteration drive, the Health Wing of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today lifted two samples of Suji and Biscuit and sent to Public Analyst Jammu.
As per release, adulteration drive was led by Health Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr. Vinod Sharma along-with a team in the areas like Talab Tillo, area etc of Jammu City to check the quality of commonly used food items to the general public inspected various food establishments like Halwai shops, Dhabas, bakery shops, juice shops, Cut fruit shops / rehries, Ice cream units, etc. About 7 kg of polythene we seized and a fine of Rs. 3100 was realized from defaulters. Moreover, team fined Rs. 300 for smoking in public place under COPT Act 2006.
