| Settlement of refugees, empowerment of Gujjars on priority: Sharma | | Omar regime has become non performing liability | | early times report Jammu, Sept 21: Asserting that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the only political party in Jammu and Kashmir State, which carried the legacy of good governance in very short span of its government, PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Loksabha seat and MLA Yash Pal Sharma today wooed the refugees and Guijjars saying their issues will be taken up on priorities by the party. Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat and MLA Yash Pal Sharma today while addressing a function at Langar area, said, " In very short period, PDP win hearts and minds of people of Jammu and Kashmir state, adding that good governance, justice and equality become trade mark of PDP government under the leadership of Mufti Sahhab." PDP leader Sharma said that the biggest achievement of PDP is that people of Jammu and Kashmir have accepted this party as alternative of National Conference. Targeting the present regime for its failure on different fronts, he alleged that present regime led by Omar Abdullah has become a non performing liability on the people of the state, adding that corruption, nepotism, mismanagements etc are the few gifts of this government for the people. Seeking support of the people for setting up a new system, he said that erecting corruption and improving quality and efficiency of the governance in Jammu and Kashmir is priority of PDP. He also added that if he voted to power, settlement of refugees and empowerment of Gujjar & Bakerwal of the state will be on the priority of my work. He also said that party under the leadership of Mufti Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti is committed to work for the people and continue to raise people's issues at every possible forum.
