| SDH Ramgarh ill-equipped to tackle snake bite cases: Hari Singh | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Sept 21: Expressing grave concern over the growing incidents of snake bites cases in Ramgarh area of Vijaypur block, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Vice President, Thakur Hari Singh said that in the absence of proper medical facilities at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Ramgarh, the number of deaths in such cases is increasing. Thakur Hari Singh was speaking in a meeting of Congress workers at Koulpur. He said that SDH Ramgarh is ill-equipped to treat the snake bite patients. Singh said that recently 2-3 snake bite patients collapsed and died on the way, while they were referred by SDH Ramgarh for treatment at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu adding that refer is no solution to the problem. He demanded full facilities for test and treatment of snake bite cases at SDH Ramgarh. Singh appealed the party workers of Vijaypur Constituency to maintain communal harmony and traditional brotherhood at all costs and defeat the nefarious designs of communal and anti-national forces who divide the society on the region and religion line. Congress leader said that special recruitment drive was held in certain areas of the State but the Vijaypur Constituency was ignored. He demanded special recruitment drive for the border belt of Vijaypur. |
