Jammu Sept 21: To mark the Hindu Diwas, the Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti (RBPS) today organized a Hindi Mushaira at Press Club Jammu in which large number of poets and writers participated. During the proceedings of occasion, RBPS also felicitated literary personalities namely Smt Krishna Gupta, Smt Shanti deep Mala and S S Anand 'Lehar.' At the onset Neeru Sharma presented the welcome address to the gathering and briefed the aim of the organizing the event. This was followed by the keynote address of eminent Hindi writer and luminary from within the state Prof Satyapal Shrivatsa who briefed the gathering about the significance of Hindi in strengthening the nation. Besides Prof Vatsa , Dr B B Sharma and Neeru Sharma also spoke on the occasion. Prominent who participated in the programme included Santosh Sangna, S Betab Ji, Ram PuriaJi, Rajeshwar, Ashok Paharia, Mrs Krishna Sharma, Susheel Begana, Mrs Arun Sharma, Rahat Hussain, Mrs Shakunt Deep Mala Ji, Chand Deepika , Rita Jitendra, Sunita Bhardwaj, Anita Mehta, Sunil Sharma and Prof, Sanjay Singh Samyal. They also spoke on the importance of promotion of Hindi language as national language In the end Dr Aruna Sharma presented the vote of thanks. |
