| 'International Day of Peace' celebrated | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 21: Gandhi Global Family (GGF) Youth Wing in collaboration with UNIC celebrated 'International Day of Peace' with students at Lawrence Public School with the theme, 'Education for Peace'.
Pawan Sharma Youth Coordinator, GGF visited the school along with other members of the Gandhi Global Family. The program started with the all faith prayer conducted by the students of Lawrence Public School followed by a symposium on 'Tolerance and Mutual Understanding to Bring Peace'.
He informed that United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) for India and Bhutan has collaborated with Gandhi Global Family to celebrate 12 day campaign from International day of Peace. During these 12 days various programs will be conducted across the country in various schools & colleges in & across India. |
