Reshamghar residents thanked for contributing Uttarakhand Relief

Jammu Sept 21: All Senior Citizens and Pensioners Welfare Association, Resham Ghar held its meeting under the Chairmanship of Dr Mohan Lai Gupta President of the Association and discussed various issues besides thanking the residents of locality for contributing to Uttrakhand Relief. During the meeting the members thanked the inhabitant of locality for their generous contribution of Rs. 53,156/-, which was sent to Prime Minister's Relief Fund for Uttrakhand Earthquake through Divisional Commissioner, Jammu. Members unanimously resolved to request State Govt to implement all orders for the welfare of aged and pensioners issued by centre in letter and spirit in J&K State. Referring to the rising prices, members demanded the 10% DA. be sanctioned in favour of employees and pensioners and the arrear 3rd installment of 6th Pay Commission be released in favour of the employees and pensioners. Harbarjan Singh, J.D. Kapoor, R.C. Vaid, Ragunandan Bali, J.K. Kapoor, Saudagar Mai, K.K. Dutta, KK Vaid, Suresh Sharma and Surinder Kohli were also present in this meeting
