Kathua, Sept 29: Following deadly terrorist attack in Samba and Hiranagar, which had claimed 13 lives including three militants, the Additional DG Border Security Forces (BSF) R.D Singh today reviewed security arrangement along IB at Hiranagar sector. Interacting with media persons at Hiranagar, the ADG BSF said that the infiltration might be from gaps on border line but not through cutting of fencing wire at border which led the major bloody militant attacks on Hiranagar Police Station and Army Camp at Samba. "Any premature discloser or comment cannot be possible before the finishing of enquiry which is still going", he said, adding that all preventive measures were adopted effectively for the protection of border population and entire area of the Jammu. "The BSF personnel's are dedicatedly maintaining surveillance at IB to retaliate infiltrations bids by Pakistan side", he said, and added that the farmers who have given their land to defense would be compensated and regarding this the process was going on. He said BSF was also aware about the interests of farmers of the area and their interests would be respected and honored. |
