| Irresponsible Kamaal compares BJP with Jamaat-ud-Dawa | | Kashmir has 'hundreds of politicians like Mir' | | Rustam
JAMMU, Sept 29: Controversial Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's irresponsible and seditious uncle Mustafa Kamaal has, it seems, lost his balance of mind. How else should one describe his Friday statements? While talking to a local news agency that day, the seditionist and irresponsible Kamaal compared the BJP with dreaded terrorist Hafiz Saeed's blood-thirsty terror outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa, held "vested interests in the "security establishment" responsible for the twin militant attacks in Hiranagar and Samba which resulted in the martyrdom of 10 persons, including soldiers, policemen and two civilians.
"Kashmir has become a safe-heaven for vested interests to mint money day in and day out. These vested interests are even present in the Army and other security and intelligence agencies…Some hidden hands inimical to peace are hand-in-glove to keep the pot boiling inKashmir. The example of Agriculture Minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir, is before us. How this man despite being a cabinet minister received money from the Army. There are hundreds of politicians like Mir in Kashmir. What Jamaat-ud-Dawa is doing in Pakistan, BJP is doing the same in India, particularly in Jammu & Kashmir. The "BJP thrives on communal politics. This party would cease to exist in an ideal society," Kamaal said.
No sane person would ever make such atrocious statements as were made by Mustafa Kamaal. He could be correct when he said that hundreds of politicians in Kashmir accept money from the Army and help it stabilize the situation in the restive Kashmir Valley. It would have been better had he thrown some light on the track record of Sheikh Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah who repeatedly compromised their ideology to capture power and mint money. But he would never do that.
Similarly, Kamaal left the people with no other option but to conclude that he has lost his balance of mind when he put the blame for the militant attacks in Hiranagar and Samba on certain elements in the Army and compared Jamaat-ud-Dawa with the BJP. Who would believe that there were vested elements in the Hiranagar police and Army in Samba who manipulatedPakistan and Pakistani Army plus terrorists and motivated them to kill policemen and Army personnel? Similarly, he made a fool of himself and become an object of contempt and ridicule when he compared the Jamaat-ud-Dawa with the BJP and accused the latter of playing communal politics in the country in general and Jammu & Kashmir in particular. He did not condemn Omar Abdullah who enjoyed the loaves and fishes of office during the BJP-led NDA regime. That a seditionist who belongs to that school of thought that preaches hatred and promotes communalism and separatism would accuse the BJP of indulging in communal politics clearly established that he doesn't know what he says. Is there anyone in the NC who could take care of its additional general secretary? |
