Jammu, Sept 29 : Demanding Constituting Shrine Board for Shri Mata Maha Kali Temple Bahu Fort, the activist of Bahu Fort Development Committee (BFDC) held a protest demonstration at Bahu Fort against the State Government for showing deaf ears and blind eyes to fulfill the long pending demand.
The protest was led by its President Kr. Rajeev Charak and he was accompanied by Baldev Raj Nargotra, Ishant Gupta, Sourabh Sethi, Raghav Gupta, Hardesh Khokher and Nikhil Magotra. Addressing media persons Rajeev Charak said that BFDC was fighting and demanding developments works for the Bahu Fort area since very long time but every time the Government shows deaf ears and blind eyes. He said every Tuesday, Sunday and during the days of Navratras the Yatris and the local people of the area have to face hardships of parking their vehicles. The roads are jammed by the traffic. He also said that both sides of road was covered with parked Bikes and cars which will reduce the driving area and created a heavy traffic Jam.
He added that BFDC is demanding Shrine Board for Shri Mata Maha Kali Temple Bahu Fort since 1999 but the Government and Governor of the state shows no intention to constitute same. |
