JAMMU, Sept 29: Organised by the Department of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu (JU), the annual inter-college (men and women) kabaddi meet shall start tomorrow on the campus grounds, here.
In all, 23 colleges and Post Graduate (PG) Departments of JU have confirmed their entries for participation. Seven matches have been scheduled for tomorrow in men section while two matches shall take place in women's section from 10 am onwards.
However, all eight quarterfinalist teams, including title holders Government SPMR College of Commerce, have been given bye in the first round. Similarly, in women's section, defending champion, Government College for Women (GCW) Parade and runners-up, GCW Gandhi Nagar have been given bye in the opening round. |
