Jammu, Oct 4: BJP State Cells Prabhari Sat Sharma lodged a complaint with State Human Right Commission (SHRC) against the reports appeared in section of media on custodial torture case of Ajay, a Kishtwari youth by local police at Police Station, Kishtwar.
As per press release, Sat Sharma enclosed the copy of the Amar Ujala newspaper wherein account of the police torture was detailed.
Sharma had termed the conduct of the concerned police of inflicting injuries on hapless Ajay, most atrocious and barbaric meant to cover up their deliberate inaction on August 9 resulting in large scale arson looting and injuries of the minorities in Kishtwar. No atrocities and excesses committed on the innocent youth under the garb of investigating the happenings of 9th August can cover up the criminal inaction of the police on the D-Day, i.e. 9th of August. |
