Official sources said that the first step in this direction related to linking or restoring the communication link between the Army and the police. The step is being taken after the incidents took place at Hiranagar police station where terrorists killed many innocent people. Sources said that soon after the attack the police station had sent a wireless alert to the Army camp at Samba but the wireless message was not received by the Army because there has been no communication link between the two.
