JMC conducts anti-adulteration drive

JAMMU, Oct 4: Continauing the drive against the menace of adulteration on the eve of Holy Navratras, the Health Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Dr. Vinod Sharma along with a team of Food Safety Officers, conducted an extensive inspection of eatables in the areas of Canal Road, Panjtirthi and B.C. Road today.
The JMC team inspected the quality of commonly used food items being sold by various food establishments.
As many as three food samples of milk and one sample of cheese were also lifted from different parts of the city and sent to Public Analyst Jammu for ascertaining their standard of purity, especially keeping in view of the forthcoming Holy Navratras festival.
